Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 June 2026

The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and JAMP for your use of our website analytics and monitoring service (the "Service"). By creating an account you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind that company.

How we handle data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy, and where JAMP processes your visitors' data on your behalf, in our Data Processing Agreement.

What JAMP does

JAMP gives you a lightweight, cookieless tracking script and a dashboard for understanding your traffic, plus optional uptime monitoring, real-user performance, error tracking, alerts and a hosted status page. We add and change features over time, and we will not remove something central to a paid plan without reasonable notice.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at support@jamp.io if you think it has been compromised. You need to be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract to use JAMP.

Plans, billing and event limits

  • Billing. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
  • Event limits. Each plan includes a monthly tracked-event allowance. If you go over, we will let you know so you can upgrade. Sustained overage may be billed as set out on the pricing page, or tracking may pause until your next cycle.
  • Changes in price. If we change a plan's price we will give you notice before it applies to your renewal.
  • Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
  • Free plan. The free plan is offered as is and we may change its limits with reasonable notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use JAMP to track sites involved in illegal activity, malware, or content that is unlawful where you or your visitors are;
  • feed personal data such as names or emails into custom events or properties unless you have a lawful basis and any required consent from the people concerned;
  • attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or circumvent the Service or its limits, or resell it without our agreement.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and for serious cases we may act without prior notice.

Your data and ours

You own the analytics collected from your sites. You can export it as CSV or delete it, a site, or your whole account at any time from the dashboard. After you close your account or delete a site we remove the associated data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records (for example billing) to meet a legal obligation.

We own JAMP itself: the software, scripts, dashboard and brand. These terms do not give you any rights in them beyond using the Service.

Your responsibilities to your visitors

JAMP is built to be cookieless and to need no consent banner for its default tracking, but you are responsible for your own site's compliance: having your own privacy policy, and obtaining any consent that applies if you choose to send us data that can identify a person.

Uptime and availability

We work hard to keep JAMP available and aim high, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may run maintenance, and we will try to schedule anything disruptive sensibly. The Service is provided as is, without warranties beyond those the law does not allow us to exclude.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, JAMP is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and ending the agreement

You can stop using JAMP and close your account whenever you like. We may update these terms; if a change is material we will update the date above and tell you by email or in the dashboard, and continuing to use the Service means you accept the new terms. We may end or suspend the Service, giving reasonable notice where we can.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts there, unless mandatory local law gives you other rights. Questions about these terms? Email support@jamp.io.
